evaluation question two

(2) The left image I took in the studio of my model Chloe, the right image is of Cheryl Cole, this was taken for 'Q' magazine.
My background is not as light as the 'Q' photo as I didn't use bright lighting. The light background for Q makes Cheryl stand out more. I took my photo from a high angle so that the camera is looking down to my model. Both females have rather straight hair and are sharing the same expression although Cheryl is not looking directly at the camera. My model is looking directly at the camera which makes the photo more personal. Cheryl has headphones as an extra prop whereas my model does not, the headphones follow the sematic field of music which follows the conventions of a music magazine. The 'Q' photo is a medium long shot. Cheryl is wearing a jacket made from chains and over the knee boots, whereas chloe is wearing a playsuit and ankle boots. Cheryl gives off a 'rock' image whereas Chloe looks like an average indie girl. I believe that these photos would attract rock kids between the age of 13 to 19.
