This is my preliminary front cover. I used a whole picture as a background I like this effect rather than having white behind the image. The problem I found with this however was that you have to be very selcective with text colours to make sure that they do not blend in. I think the titles fonts work well and I like the contrast between the fancyer lettering and the simpler one. I think this works well for a college magazine but it would not be right for a music magazine. I like the uniform text I have put on for the features however I again do not think this would work on a music magazine and it does make the magazine look a bit empty and I would prefer it to be busier. I also used too many shades of blue on my magazine. I intended the cover to be colour coded but it ended up looking messy.
