I used shapes in photoshop to create the bottom and top border and filled red paint in it. The text is in stencil standard font and to create the arrow at the bottom I made a white square and then a white polygon over the top of it.
Below is a picture showing how I drew the magazines title in different styles and scanned them into the computer.
Below is a picture of the final title I chosen when I went on photoshop and inverted the orginal drawing and then used the polygonal tool to cut out the black box behind it to the same shape of the text.

Next, is a image of the front cover with the title on it.

After placing the title on the front cover I decided I didnt like how it went has it was out of proportion and it just looked odd so I've decided I might use it inside the magazine somewhere else instead and think of a new title for the magazine and in a different font.
To do this I brainstormed a mindmap of possible titles for the magazine and then did a questionnaire and asked some family and friends which name they thought suited a music magazine best.
Below is the mindmap I created.

After the questionnaire was filled in the results were extremely close between Music Lovin', Zing and Wired but Music Lovin' and Zing had 3 ticks each whereas Wired got 1 more tick giving it 4 ticks overall. Looking at the results of the top 3 names I decided to go with Wired as it had the most ticks and I also quite liked the sound of the name myself as the name 'Wired' reminds me of the equipment used in music such as electric guitar wires and a microphone wire too.
