A iconic scene in Quentin Tarantino's 1994 classic film "Pulp Fiction" In this scene we see Samuel L Jacksons character "Jules Winnfield" verbally interrogate a group of boys about his boss's missing briefcase. A theme shared in our film. We see Jules Lull the boys into a false sense of security by having idle "chit chat" When we see one of the boys try to reconcile the situation we see Jules turn round and shoot one. This creates great shock and tension. We see the tension build has Jules get increasingly more violent towards Bret. The scene reaches a crescendo when Jules recites a bible passage and executes Bret. This represents a different kind of torture- Verbal. Before Jules fires any shots we see Bret get more and more worked up without the use of any violence.
