We have learnt quite a lot about technologies and it has helped us greatly in achieving this end product.
The use of keyframes was very important and was the building block upon all of the effects we used.
These are the key frames we used in order to accomplish the spinning photographs in the first minute of our opening.
After this we wanted to create a very smooth dark and flowing atmosphere which would create a very eerie feel. We did this by using fade to black and cross dissolves, for example...
To create trhe moving poster footage we first of all started by filming the prisoner moving in the mugshot. We then took a freeze frame picture of the first shot of the footage and printed it out onto a poster in black and white...
Once we had filmed the zoom into the poster we then added another piece of film on the top, this was the footage of the prisoner. We had to adjust its size and scale to match the camera zoom and the size of the picture in the poster. We then faded it in and the slight change of colour turned out to look authentic.
