I have decided to do another photoshoot so I can put another cover story onto my front cover. I will also use an image from this photoshoot in my contents page if it is successful.
I have taken inspiration from the artisit Pete Doherty as he conveys a rock / grunge image and features in magazine such as NME. As my magazine is aimed at a similar audience I feel this type of artist would relate to my target audience.
I particularly like this image of the artist and I will aim to produce a similar look in my own images. The artist looks quite confident/arrogant in the image so this is the type of facial expression and stance I will ask my model to convey. The model will need to look fairly scruffy with tattoos on show as this is important in connoting a rockers image. I particularly like how the images are shot in black and white, with quite a dull, moody lighting. I will take this into consideration when carrying out my next shoot.
