Opening Sequence
We planned to be as original as possible with our first scene, because that is what makes a good short film stand out. With a quirky dance routine and alternative storyline we believe we achieved it. However, we still used inspiration for ideas and help with how to carry out our initial thoughts. For example, we based our film on certain indie films such as Superbad and Napolean Dynamite which both used music in clever ways creating a feel good watch for the audience as well as editing fast cuts keeping it fresh and in touch with the modern way of editing!
