This photo taken of lady gaga, and my picture I took of Mary-Kate are both taken in quite a similar pose, for example, both their heads are tilted to the side and their arms are both crossed in between their legs. Both of their facial expressions are also quite blank, yet powerful, due to the heavy makeup on their eyes. Each of the images are taken from a slightly low angle which could symbolise the power that person has. The image of lady gaga is taken on a grey background whereas my image was taken on a white background, but both of them are quite light images. Also the costumes are different, for example lady gaga has black heals, black tights and a metallic top/dress on, whereas Mary-Kate is wearing black boots, black leggings, and a grey dress/top with black beading on one shoulder. Where lady gaga’ metallic dress stand out quite bold in the image, the beading on Mary-Kate’s dress does the same. My image therefore represents a social group of people who for instance like pop music.
