We have finally completely finished our structure now for our news bulletin, including a jingle, news stories, sport stories, vox pops and OB, weather, a recorded interview and our main broadcast which is going to be the grand national.
Also we have recorded the opening of the show, the news stories and sport. We have also edited the beginning 2 minutes of the show successfully, including some sound effects and jingles, for example the news underlay. Through editing i am learning valuable skills of how to edit, cut and use certain effects, for example cross fading
However i still think in order to make the bulletin sound phonetically effective we need to work on having smooth linking transitions between stories and segments of the bulletin. We are going to achieve this by linking back to the studio in between stories.
