Front cover.

Now i have the title sorted i wanted to do the main story.

This type is too corporate for the magazine

I tried giving it some edge by putting it on a slant but it didn't work.

I used the text i used on the title but now the title doesn't stand out as individual.

This is another font i have started to use in the double page spread and i think it looks quite good at the bottom and for the main story.

I used the font for the sub title "shes back" but like i said with the title it isn't individual anymore so i plan to change it.

This is a typewriting font from dafont which i like because its old fashioned and fits with the magazine. The only problem is i can keep using different fonts as the continuity will be messed up.

The text being underneith didint look as good as it did on top, and so the "chloe mac" stood out more i made the "shes back" smaller and off to the side.

On the background, due to the stones in the wall, the white text didnt stand out as much and merged with them a little making it look messy so i added a small stroke to it so it stood out slightly.

Next i did the barcode. I know from research that the magazine needs a barcode, price and date so i decided to put them all together as it looks out of place on my magazine as it is. But it is necessary.

I made up some bands and used some from my class so i had some pictures for my contents. I placed them along the side in the void of the image.

Like the "shes back" i added a stroke, but they still didnt stand out as much as i wanted.

I therefore put a black box around it but this still didnt stand out.

In Q magazine they used white boxes to make there stories stand out so i used the same idea to make my stories bolder.

I wanted the story in the magazine to look different to the bands in the magazine so i made it red.

I needed something to illustrate what the names where along the side of my magazine, so i used the word also. Also didnt look good so i thought of other words associated with it.

I prefare the word plus, but i thought of using the symbol instead.

This plus is veranda font.

This plus is the die font used for the "chloe mac"

This is the linken park font used in the title.
In the end i decided to use the veranda font as it didnt take up as much space.
