Teen mags became a big-selling sector but changes in demographics (in 1990, the number of 17-24 year olds was forcast to fall from 7 million to 6 million by 1995

In 1998, 11 titles sold 2,441,163 copies a month (Smash Hits, Just 17, Looks..)
In 2006, nine titles had 852,004 sales (Sugar, Bliss, Cosmo Girl, Top of the Pops, Shout..)
