The storyboard on the left shows the first six shots of our film. The first shot shows the opening credits and is expected to last for around 30 seconds. The second shot is a close up of a photo which was taken at the crime scene, then we plan to utilize a rotating zoom out, up until shot 4. Narrative of the main character will be employed in shot three as the camera is zooming out. The character speaking is revealed in shot 5 along with the character who is being spoken to. Then in shot six we introduce the third and final character who will be shown in a low lit room investigating the murder weapon, this shot is a contrast from shot 5 as instead of dialogue we plan to use eerie non-diegetic music playing in the background.
The storyboard on the right shows the last four shots of our film. The seventh shot is a shot/reverse shot of shots 5 and 6. This will build a tense atmosphere as the the camera switches between the speech and realistic sounds in shot 5 in comparison to the eerie soundtrack playing in shot 6. The shot/reverse shot will speed up gradually as the characters in the each room become more dynamic upon the discovery of vital information. Shots 8 and 9 show the two characters from shot 5 leaving their room and entering the same room as the character from shot 6 to discuss their discoveries.
