In order to begin the construction of my magazine, I need to research into different possible names and their connoatations in order to successfully reach my target audience. To find a suitable name for my magazine cover, I have made use of a thesaurus website that has generated ideas for me to use. For example:
- Vibe
- Relish
- Frenzy
- Oomph
- Gusto
- Mania
- Vibrancy
- Flair
- Chic
- Cherish
All of these potential names connotate positive feelings of modernity, enthusiasm and style, making the target audience very clear. These potential names have a youthful sound to them, indicating that the target audience for my magazine is younger people - teens and young adults - that are interested in up to date, chart music. These words connotate slight sophistication and class, combined with upbeat, fresh and exhilarated feelings that I think fit my preferred audience...stereotypically.
