As you can see, our task was to create a front cover and contents page for a college magazine. I was told to use images, fonts and colour appropriate for 'college students.' I enjoyed doing the task and I picked up skills which I can now use in my main project.
I think I was successful at doing this task and used a good picture for my front cover. However, when I do it properly I will make sure my font isn't slightly overlapping the picture.
I worked with 3 other people to take photo's but also had the chance to work individually when editing it in photoshop.
In conclusion, I think my prelim went well and looks good. However, this is just a starting point and improvements will be made for my main project.
