Prelim

For the preliminary activity i had to create a cover and a contents page for a college magazine. The photo for the front cover had to be a medium close up of someone who might be featured in a college magazine.

The style of which I decided to make my magazine was an informal style aimed at the teenage students rather than adults. The way that I have done this is by having the main title in a messy punky style that grabs the readers attention. Also on the contents page I have edited it so that the top section of the page looks like it is made from ripped paper out of a text book.

For the photo on the front cover I decided to go to the local park near my college to get a nice photo on location. Unfortunately I only used a 10 megapixel compact digital camera so the image quality is not fanastic quality in comparison to if I had used one of the college slr's.
