My Prelim

This is my front cover.

Some of my font is covering the photo so it is lost. Also the colouring of some of the text makes it hard to read. Next time i could use a stroke on the font to make it stand out more.

I have used a font that could maybe i could have changed more foten to make it more intresting.

There are areas of wasted space where i could have used it more productivly. I could have changed the transparency of it so the photo could have been seen more.

The positives - Feedback.

It is bold and stands out. The desaturated background picture allows the text to stand out more than it would if it was colour. The exclamation marks in odd places give the modern student feel to it. The use of colour in the text highlights the main points in the sentence. The picture relates to the main story. The font of the heading relates to the feel of the magazine and the banner at the bottom drwas attention to the main story.

There are lots of wasted space where it could have been used more productivly.

Its all very similar and could have been mixed up a bit more as it is a students magazine and doesnt need to be as formal and repetative.

It is quite plain compared to my front cover.

The positives - Feedback

I like the use of gradient in the background.

Its bright vibrant and clear. The use of tilted boxes gives a funky feel to it.

The use of colours and font carried on from the front page is good.
