My Prelim Work

For my media prelim, I had to design and create a college magazine front cover and contents page. I needed to use images, fonts and colour. I wanted it to look relevant to a 'College Magazine' theme.

I think that in the task, I was quite successful and in doing so, gained a few skills in doing so. I worked in a group with 3 other people and we each shared the photos we took and stared in but created our own designs of individual covers and contents page.

I found this was good as we could all help each other with the photographs but still have the ability to produce and do my own thing where as other media products may be more group centred and not all your ideas can get put in.

To conclude, I think I did quite well. It certainly looks the part, granted there could be a few alterations to change it to make it more like a real magazine but above all, for a prelim I thinks it is good and have had good feedback on it.
